10 Hours a Year

Effectively managing and monitoring your portfolio is hugely important if you want to be a successful investor – but it doesn’t need to take as long as you think.

In the September 2014 Issue of Smart Property Investment (SPI) Magazine, Ben Kingsley explains that most property investors who stick to the traditional ‘buy and hold’ strategy will testify that (unlike the share market) one of the advantages of investing in property is that it doesn’t rule your world. If investors adopt a passive investment strategy for the medium to long term, then successful residential property investment shouldn’t take any more of their time than 10 hours per property per year.
