We have loved our experience with Empower wealth and with our planner Ben. Bre and I were very comfortable with Ben from our first meeting. His friendly personality coupled with his clear knowledge and experience in the industry gave us confidence that we had finally found the right property planning team. We particularly liked how every one of our planning sessions was a discussion and how Ben worked hard to generate a plan that supported our life goals and our unique lifestyle needs. Ben was a wealth of knowledge but was also willing to learn and investigate other approaches to support our particular circumstance.

At times we managed to make Ben second guess himself but he only generated more respect from Bre and I when he genuinely considered our comments and opinion and used these to reconsider and adjust the plan. Bre and I are a dual Defence couple and Ben drew on experience from other team members to help understand the specific entitlements we receive which are unique when compared to most civilian employers. Ben was honest with his feedback regarding the feasibility of our goals but also provided alternate options.

We are only just starting our journey but Bre and I have asked Ben to refer us to Empower Wealth’s accountants and mortgage brokers. We are already using the buyers agent services. We are excited about our future goals and look forward to sharing our story in the 2023 winter series.
