We have nothing but praise for Empower Wealth, specifically Simon and Rachel. We reached out to Empower Wealth about 2.5 years ago when we were much more naive and had unrealistic goals for our money. When we analysed our budget and savings together, it was clear that we did not have control over our money management. Simon gave us some advice that was honest, but very difficult to hear and we were tempted to just sweep it under the rug and continue to dream big without putting any work into it. After a very difficult financial year, we revisited Simon’s advice and decided to put it into practice. We watched our money closely and made sure we were tracking out money closely. We reached out to Simon again after 1.5 years and advised him where we were. Unfortunately, the time was not right given I was on maternity leave and my husband just started a new job. Come back in 6 months. And finally after 6 months, we returned and the time was right! We then met Rachel, who just blew us away with her knowledge and passion. We have unconventional goals in comparison to the average Joe, but Rachel was able to work some scenarios out. The property plan is truly amazing. It is amazing to see what technology advances are out there to help mitigate the risks. For some, it is scary to have the next 30-40 years planned out. But for us, it brings us a lot of comfort knowing that we are not investing or spending our money aimlessly. Big thank you to the whole team who truly puts their clients best interest first. I approached Empower Wealth at a rather tricky time. I am currently on maternity leave and my husband is transitioning from apprentice to subcontractor, so our wage is all over the place.
