I recently purchased my first home with help from Shane Pope. This is the first time I’ve purchased property of any kind or employed the services of a buyers agent so I was entirely out of my element from the beginning. I initially went through the financial advice process with EW which was very helpful in giving me a starting point but I was still unsure of how to proceed. It wasn’t until I started working with Shane that I began to feel good about the whole process. He provided very sound practical advice and gave me coaching and support on a personal level. He validated my concerns and stresses, reassuring me when I needed it, and went out of his way to make me feel in control and comfortable with my decision. A perfect example of this is when he agreed to meet me at Bunnings one day to help me choose paint colours. I have never had a home painted before, and initially didn’t intend to buy a property that needed that kind of work. He identified a unique opportunity with a property that I would have otherwise passed on and I ended up purchasing it. This opportunity also brought new challenges however, and he went above and beyond to help alleviate that stress by walking me through the process of hiring painters, choosing colours etc. Sometimes it’s the little things like this that make all the difference. I can’t speak highly enough of Shane and if am fortunate enough to purchase another property in the future I will seeking his help again. A friend of mine met him on site one day too, and after seeing him at work he told me he’ll also be seeking Shane’s help when he’s ready to purchase. 10/10.
