We were going through the process of sorting out our retirement plans with another financial advisor. We had dabbled in property previously and wanted to be able to use the equity in our house as a way to invest. Forgetting that the financial advisor would only advise on the share market I was disappointed there was not an option for property investment with that advisor.

I stumbled upon a link to the Property Couch podcast on Facebook around the same time so took a look into it.

Everything made so much sense. I binged on episodes then went back to the beginning and got a real fire for working on a plan. My husband was not as enthusiastic which was challenging (and remains so), but we ended up booking a planning session with Brendan and now have a plan moving forward. I was shocked to see that if we remained on our current path we would not be in a great place soon into retirement. We are so grateful that the plan could show us that scenario, otherwise our future was just guess work and hoping for the best.

As is often the case, I wish we had started way earlier, but it is what it is and we now have a clear path forward. I have more confidence in our future and feel more secure knowing, if we keep on the path, we will be able to enjoy our twilight years. Thanks Empower Wealth.
