If you are about to schedule an initial consultation with us and you’re thinking, “What is the process like?” or “Do I have to pay anything at the end?”, don’t worry! You are not alone and hence, for a smoother experience, we have listed a few of the common questions we get asked from our clients.

Why we do need the Financial Fact Find prior to the appointment?

At Empower Wealth, we follow a 5-step process to make sure we deliver the best possible advice and service to our clients.

The first step to the Empower Wealth journey is to clarify. We achieved this by asking our clients to fill in an Online Fact Find via our customer portal; My Empower Wealth. It asked questions such as your current assets and liabilities, incomes, expenses and future plans. The whole reason we need your Fact Find is to ensure that we understand what you want to achieve and we have the right advisor to be meeting you. How do I log in to start filling in the Financial Fact Find?

It should be quite straightforward. As soon as you’ve requested an appointment with us, you would receive an email with your log in details. For a step-by-step demonstration on how you sign in, change your password and start filling in the Financial Fact Find, here’s a video for you:

 

Is there a cost for the Initial Consultation?

The initial consultation is free of charge, with no obligation to use any of our services.

 

What if I’m not in Melbourne?

Our office is in North Melbourne, Victoria, but we also deal with clients across Australia, and we even have a few international clients too! We have an online facility set up here where you would be able to see our screen and hear us at the same time. So if you are not able to come to our office, meetings can be conducted via phone or online so that would not be a problem.

 

What is the initial consultation process like?

Once you requested an appointment with us, you will receive an email from with your log in details to start filling in your Financial Fact Find. The initial consultation will only be as productive as the information we receive from you so once you complete the Financial Fact Find and click ‘Submit to Advisor’, we will be notified. Our advisor will review your submission, current situation and future plans to determine what opportunities lies ahead for you. The review process generally takes 3 days to a week. Once they have reviewed your Fact Find, one of our team will be in contact to discuss about your initial consultation with us.
