Arne’s Story

I was actually on the hunt for my second property. So I went and got my first loan. I went straight to the bank for my first one, and then the second one, that’s when I started listening to The Property Couch, and I’m like, okay, maybe I need to speak to someone who knows a little bit more about getting finance and getting the right structure in place. I was looking for a property and then went to look out for different options for which brokers to use. I think Empower Wealth was the best option for me.

They really got to know you and understand your situation, which I was really, really impressed with.

Some of the other brokers, they’re just like, Oh, you want to buy a property? Like this is the sort of rates we can get you and stuff…

but you guys really took the time to understand what we wanted to achieve with it, and what we wanted for this property, and what properties would be coming afterward as well. So yeah, it was really great getting to build that connection with the broker.

I struggled to get the equity out of the property because I had such a high LVR. So with Thomas at Empower, he helped me find options that helped me get the equity out from my first property to go towards the second one.

We hit a few roadblocks along the way with the first lender. So we had to look at the second and third options. And then you go from there.

I know he was doing all the hard work on his end, and I just would’ve had no idea what to do if that was just me by myself. So it was really good to get a little bit of help.

They just made the process really smooth, and there were no issues throughout the process, as communication was great.

They always kept me updated with everything. So I felt like a part of the process, and I wasn’t lost throughout any of it.

It feels really good. It’s really exciting to get into my second property.
