William is a Mortgage Lending Advisor with over 3 years’ experience in Mortgage Broking and over 7 years in property. He holds both a Bachelor of Tourism Management and a Diploma of Finance & Mortgage Broking Management.

Born in Melbourne but having lived most of his life in New Zealand, William has always been passionate about travelling and property. In 2017, he decided to combine both interests and move to London in pursuit of a job in property. This landed him a job as an Operations Manager for a home rentals agency where he dealt with customer issues while they were staying at the properties he looked after. Naturally, this also included liaising with contractors, drafting contracts as well as other property maintenance tasks. After 2 years in London, he decided to move to Melbourne to be closer to family and that’s when an opportunity popped up at Empower Wealth.

Initially, what drew William to Empower Wealth was the company’s commitment to prioritising customers, a value closely aligned with his own. Upon joining, he discovered the depth of the company’s offerings, sparking a strong interest in wealth creation and cash flow management. Witnessing the tangible impact on clients’ financial futures further fuelled his enthusiasm, especially upon learning about the Money SMARTS system and its potential to enhance household financial management. He has now successfully harnessed this system to purchase a property of his own.

A lifelong sports enthusiast, William received a sports scholarship throughout his university years. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring Melbourne and attending cricket games at the MCG. A devoted soccer fan, he played for years in Christchurch and passionately supports Tottenham Hotspur.
