Shanna Wong

Shanna is the Copywriter and Content Creator at Empower Wealth. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Media Studies and has experience working in both marketing and editorial roles.

Originally from Perth, Shanna first found her passion for marketing while she was completing her Bachelor’s Degree at The University of Western Australia.

She found that creating social and editorial content designed for various platforms and industries was fun and fulfilling and enjoyed seeing the impact her work had on a business. It was during this time that Shanna volunteered for a range of cultural organisations within the not-for-profit industry including Colosoul Magazine and RTRFM 92.1, a local WA radio station.

Upon moving to Melbourne, she started her career as a B2B coffee journalist and found she loved the client-facing, fast-paced environment.

During this period her interest in investing developed further and she began researching property investing as a form of wealth creation. It was this spark that led her to The Property Couch and later to Empower Wealth.

Shanna says her favourite things about working at Empower Wealth are the fantastic team she gets to work with and the fact that no two days are the same (but she’s guaranteed to put her creative juices to work and expand her knowledge every day!)

In her spare time, she loves being creative, keeping active and anything that mixes food and friends.
