Ivise Gan

Ivise Gan is the Chief Customer and Marketing Officer at Empower Wealth, Producer of The Property Couch Podcast and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Accounting and Finance and a Masters in Business Administration and Professional Accounting. She’s also a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society.

Ivise’s career in Marketing commenced while she was studying her MBA and working part-time time at Deakin University in the Student Mentoring team. The role had a marketing skew giving Ivise experience in project management, visual art productions, content management and high-level customer engagement. While she enjoyed the scope of the work, Ivise also craved for an opportunity to practice a little bit more on research and data analysis.

During the MBA years, she has published a journal on International Business Economics, which demonstrated how the addiction to shopping relates to an open market and economic factors which affected the behavioral patterns. Her interest in economics also includes the property market which was triggered in her earlier years as an External Auditor specialising in property development. Having gained experience in the early stages of property, Ivise was keen to explore the latter and much more interesting stage – property investment and wealth creation. This led her to Empower Wealth in 2012.

Starting in the operation team, Ivise puts her organisational and research skills to practice including; researching and updating residential property data, systemising and building divisional process flows, business development projects and general administration support. In 2013, she moved to the Marketing role and focus more on the establishing Empower Wealth’s position in the digital space. She’s set up the company’s CRM and social media accounts from scratch and is heavily involved in thousands of video productions from content development stages up, filming, editing and up to post-productions. Finally in 2015, Ivise along with Ben and Bryce launched The Property Couch Podcast which has now garnered more than 4 million downloads, over 1,020 five-star reviews and is now Australia’s Best Rated Business Podcast.

Since starting at Empower Wealth, Ivise claims that there is never a dull day at work. Empower Wealth is a dynamic and agile company that focused on clients’ best interest as well as their values on innovation, team, people, guidance and growth. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her partner and checking out new attractions around the area.
