Hong is a Compliance Officer in the Financial Planning team at Empower Wealth. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Finance and Marketing.

Hong began her career in the financial services industry after graduating, where she worked in a client services role in a financial planning firm based in Kew.

From there she was able to develop the knowledge and skills around the advice process which enabled her to assist her adviser in interacting with clients and implementing financial based strategies to help them achieve their financial goals.

Hong has developed a strong interest around wealth creation and cash flow management after being able to witness the impact this has had in helping clients prepare for their financial future. This essentially led her to Empower Wealth who possess the same values in helping clients achieve this and hope this gives her the opportunity to expand her knowledge in multiple areas of the business.

She enjoys spending her time watching movies and tv shows, travelling and catching up with her friends over dinner or having board game nights.

It was wonderful to work with Sage. I learnt a great deal through the process. Sage was a great listener and tailored his advice to meet my specific needs. He was exceptionally patient and very thorough. I appreciated the effort he took to ensure the outcome was the best outcome possible for me. Hong was also a delight to work with.
