Floyd Kilpatrick

Floyd has recently joined Empower Wealth as a Customer Relationship Officer in the Mortgage Broking department. He currently holds a Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking and is eager to leverage his business and property investing experience as he works towards becoming a Mortgage Lending Advisor.

Before joining Empower Wealth, Floyd founded and operated a successful plumbing business that employed a team of young plumbers and serviced some of Australia’s largest builders. During this time, he developed a strong appreciation for delivering excellent customer service and gained valuable insights into business operations.

After more than a decade in the construction industry, Floyd decided to pivot to a new career path. Having had a strong interest in property, investing, and finance from a young age, and drawing on knowledge gained through listening to The Property Couch podcast to guide his own property purchases, he joined the Empower Wealth team.

Floyd looks forward to becoming a well-rounded, investment-savvy mortgage broker and helping Australians achieve their property goals.

Outside of work, Floyd enjoys spending as much time outdoors as possible. His favourite activities include dirt bike and mountain bike riding with mates, as well as hiking with his dog, Ace.
