Dean is a Mortgage Lending Advisor at Empower Wealth with sixteen years combined experience in mortgage broking and commercial finance. Dean holds a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management and Certificate IV in Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking).

A genuine interest in global financial markets stems from Dean managing his family’s self managed super fund and from this experience he understands that risk and ensuring awareness through self education and professional advice is paramount in finding opportunities and managing risk.

Having started mortgage broking in 2002, Dean’s client for life mentality led him to start a sole run brokerage in 2010. A recent move back to Victoria in 2016 has opened the door to join the Empower Wealth team who share the same values of awareness through education and a genuine commitment to provide finance advice through a consultative and collaborative approach.

Dean’s spare time is focused on maintaining fitness and health to keep up with a young family which includes enjoying golf, swimming, tennis and being a keen supporter of AFL.

Dean, Kade and the team at Empower Wealth were fantastic to deal with. Nicole and I were working to a very tight timeframe to secure our loan, and Dean and his team made it happen. Their professionalism, friendliness and excellent communication made the entire process smooth and stress-free.
