Basanta worked as an Associate Broker in the Mortgage Broking division. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration which makes him well-prepared to navigate the intricate landscape of financial management and strategic decision-making. With sharp attention to detail and a drive for perfection, he brings his knowledge, experience and skills to his role ensuring smooth transactions and top-notch customer satisfaction.

As a former teacher for finance and accounting, Basanta has gained extensive knowledge in working with a broad set of people, their personalities, and their requirements. He has always been passionate about finance and helping others navigate complex financial decisions. Bringing a new perspective into his role he is determined to help his clients by providing personalised customer service.

He was attracted to the mortgage broking industry due to its potential to make a great impact on people’s lives by guiding them through the process of securing a mortgage. The opportunity to provide personalised advice, navigate clients through various financing options, and ultimately facilitate the purchase of their dream homes resonated with him, prompting him to pursue a career in this field. Basanta believes that his career aspirations are well inclined with the opportunities at Empower Wealth is able to provide. He is driven to grow and broaden his knowledge during his time at Empower Wealth and give back to his clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

Outside of work, he enjoys immersing himself in the world of cricket, whether it’s watching matches, analysing strategies, or discussing the latest developments in the sport with fellow enthusiasts. Additionally, he values spending quality time with friends, whether it’s engaging in social activities, exploring new places, or simply enjoying each other’s company over a meal or a cup of coffee.
