Nicole Slade

Nicole Slade is a Buyers Agent at Empower Wealth, with over 25 years’ industry experience, both personally and professionally.

Nicole’s curiosity for real estate started at University, where she was a student of Economics and Finance. Her passion only grew and Nicole took the plunge in 1999 and bought her first property, a unit in a small character block in Cammeray, on Sydney’s lower north shore. This proved to be the first of many personal purchases.

Professionally, Nicole holds a number of qualifications, including: a Bachelor of Economics (UNSW), a Graduate Diploma in Human Resources (Deakin) and a Certificate IV in Property Services (REINSW).

Nicole’s career has traversed two professions (real estate and human resources), with her experience gained across multiple sectors: media, financial services, telecommunications and data technology. Nicole believes there is a strong synergy between human resources and real estate – both being ‘people’ businesses. She is outcome focused with great intuition, relationship building and negotiation skills.

Nicole has the good fortune to have lived and worked in a number of Australia’s major economic and lifestyle cities including: Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne. This gives her great insight into the intricacies of various markets. Additionally, Nicole has successfully invested in real estate in each of these locations – making her a true ‘borderless investor’.

Prior to joining Empower Wealth Nicole lived and worked as a Buyers Agent in Brisbane and in her spare time ‘added value’ to a couple of her investment properties in Brisbane through renovation, another passion of Nicole’s.

Now an Empower Wealth veteran with 8+ years’ service, Nicole has expertly navigated a multitude of market cycles and locations on the eastern seaboard: Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.

Nicole currently calls Brisbane home. She draws on her interstate and own property investment experience to help others achieve their lifestyle and retirement outcomes through bricks and mortar.
