Originally hailing from the Bellarine Peninsula, Barton’s childhood was defined by endless days spent by the beach. Transitioning from his laid-back surfer lifestyle, Barton made the move to Melbourne in 2013 to embark on his finance career, initially as an assessor for a major bank.

With a natural affinity for mathematics, Barton thrived in his role as an assessor, relishing the analytical aspects of his work. However, as he progressed, he became increasingly aware of the limitations inherent in offering a narrow range of products. This realisation ignited Barton’s desire to explore the mortgage broking industry, driven by his aspiration to forge lasting client relationships and provide tailored lending solutions that aligned with their aspirations.

Since transitioning to mortgage broking in 2017, Barton has evolved into an investment-savvy professional, dedicated to empowering his clients to achieve their financial objectives.

Outside of his professional endeavours, Barton finds solace in the waves, enjoying surfing sessions, as well as staying active through basketball games and running.
