We had a long and challenging brief for a single lady looking to purchase an owner occupier property after renting in the similar location for the past 23 years. She had a long wish list which we all knew would take a considerable amount of time; add to the mix the influx of overseas buyers in the inner east and their penchant to invest or, let us say, pay small fortunes to buy in the suburbs of Glen Waverley, Mount Waverley, Wheelers Hill, Mulgrave, we were up against it from the outset. After attending and bidding on many properties both on market and off market properties and missing opportunity after opportunity we finally came across a gem of a property in Wheelers Hill. We once again undertook all of our due diligence for what we hoped would be the last time for our client just one week before Christmas. It was my wish to be successful on the day of auction and both mine and my client’s wishes came true. After such a long and arduous search to find such a property, we bid early and strong to secure a great family home at $40k under budget. It was certainly a great Christmas blessing!

I have literally transacted in approximately 2,000 properties both as an agent and a buyer’s agent and to see the look on my long term client’s face and hear her kind words after sticking it out for so long was extremely rewarding and that is the reason we do what we do.
