Mark’s Story

That first purchase back in 2012, was a house and land package.

And then as it went on, I realised that I paid too much for it and the people who organised it, they got a good kick out of it, the developers and all that sort of stuff, and when you work the figures out, how much really it’s cost you to buy it, to use a buyer’s agent, the money that you’ve spent is just worthwhile.

I got a plan done too, by Empower Wealth, which was great and worked out. I only really needed four properties – I had three already, so there was one more to go, and I thought, go and use the Buyer’s Agency service that they’ve got. I’m glad I did because Christa and her team did a fantastic job with the purchase in Adelaide.

The other properties I would have spent at least six months trying to research – I was quite surprised within two weeks we got a call from her and said, I’ve got a place we’re looking at and sent through photos and video footage of it all.

Christa said the market had moved a bit, so our budget was sort of just a bit below, so she was honest with me and said, we’ll see what we can do. She came up with a place that was off-market. I could never have done anything like that. She’s been in the business for so long, and she had someone on the ground down in Adelaide too.

Basically, everything is sort of done for you. I didn’t have the worry of trying to get the right area or the negotiation type. That was all done for you, even down to property management.

Empower Wealth and the buyer’s agents was just fantastic. Definitely recommend the Buyers Agency and Empower Wealth. I’ll also recommend best, the financial side of things too. If anyone’s after finance and a broker … yeah, Empower Wealth too, with that side of it, is excellent. It’s money well spent.
