Originally from Vietnam, May holds a bachelor and a masters degree in finance and has spent 6 years working in property and finance related services.

After spending a few years working for a company selling off the plan projects, even though she enjoyed the job, May realised the nature of the business didn’t seem right as clients’ best interests weren’t put in first when they were persuaded to purchase off the plans. Then she came across a property investment magazine featuring Empower Wealth, that ‘s when she realised how a true property investment journey should be. When an opportunity at Empower Wealth came up, she did not hesitate to apply and the rest is history.

May is passionate about property, investment and helping people. Being a mum of a 2 year old boy has taught her a lot of life lessons which can translate to work life such as time management and multi-tasking. She strongly advocates for a client first business which is very much aligned with Empower Wealth’s core value. Working at Empower Wealth has opened a new horizon for her about property investment and helped her to lay some first stones on her investment journey.

Outside work, she enjoys reading books, travelling to discover new places and spending time with her 2 years old son- Toby. She does believe every day is a gift and we should treasure each and every moment of it.

Matthew plays an important role throughout our property journey. He shows the gold standard quality of a consultative professional lending advice, for life, that fits way beyond just competitive rates. Simon, May and Jade were excellent in refinancing all of my loans, which took nearly a year to settle. There was a hiccup when I tried to refinance my IP loan last year and could not settle due to complication with the bank. With Simon's expertise, he was able to re-structure my home loan and IP loans correctly and refinance to another lender in the current strict lending environment.
