This passion flourished as he navigated various roles throughout his career, encompassing the end-to-end mortgage process at both medium and large firms. His experience spans a broad spectrum of lending strategies, from specialist to investment-savvy lending, exposing him to diverse scenarios and circumstances. This journey has fortified his expertise in complex lending structures, strategies, and processes.

Reflecting on his experience, Mathew emphasises the challenge of finding professional and independent advice that incorporates a holistic approach, integrating long-term planning of individual goals, money management practices, and investment strategies. This quest for comprehensive guidance led him to Empower Wealth, a firm closely aligned with his core values.

Outside of work, Mat finds joy in various pursuits, including bike riding, basketball, reading, hiking, and being outdoors.
