Originally from Perth, David has lived in Melbourne for the last 15 years. Numbers and data have always been a passion for David, which led him to complete a Bachelor of Finance (Honours) and start his career in banking. He has worked in a variety of roles from associate, corporate analyst and most recently as a business banking manager.

Over his career, he has realised his greatest job satisfaction comes from helping individuals into their first home or investment property. This led him to explore a career change to mortgage broking.

Having said this, all his prior roles had a constant theme in common, helping customers as he enjoys working with clients and achieving the best possible outcome and service for them. Naturally, this led David to Empower Wealth, where clients come first and foremost, which aligned strongly to his own core values.

Outside of work, David is keen to further his own knowledge by keeping up to date with local (property) and global (financial) markets, economic and investment trends via research, readings, and podcasts.

When David is not furthering his own knowledge, he enjoys spending time with his wife and friends playing board games, futsal, cycling, watching sports (mainly AFL, EPL, and Tennis) or enjoying day hikes when the weekend weather is good in Melbourne.

He is an avid supporter of the Eagles, Liverpool, and Nadal!
