Thomas is a Mortgage Lending Advisor at Empower Wealth Advisory with over 11 years’ experience in mortgage broking. He holds a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management, a Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP – UK), a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Financial Planning, and a Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting.

Starting in financial planning, Thomas quickly realized the importance of helping people through one of the biggest decisions of their lives—buying a home or investment property. Receiving a handwritten thank you card from his first client solidified his passion for the field.

Thomas has diversified his experience through various lending roles, including running his own business and working with a Mortgage Management firm. Through some luck, he met Ben Kingsley at an industry conference. Having listened to the Property Couch podcast for some time, and with an alignment in values, Thomas was eager to seek a role at Empower Wealth. Twelve months later, another encounter with Ben at the same conference led to a Mortgage Lending Advisor role in May of 2017.

Beyond his professional life, Thomas is dedicated to personal development and enjoys time with his young family. His interests include tennis, cycling, golf, Essendon FC, and coffee. An enthusiastic traveler, Thomas loves exploring new destinations and cultures, with one of his highlights being an 18-month stay in London.
