Shannon Weaver

Shannon is the National Broker Development Manager at Empower Wealth with 9 years of experience in the mortgage broking industry and 22 years of experience in Banking and Finance. He holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA), and a Diploma in Mortgage Broking and Finance.

Shannon is passionate about helping people achieve their financial and personal goals. He believes that Empower Wealth’s values closely align with his own, making it an easy decision to join a business that places the client at the heart of every decision.

Most recently, Shannon served as Head of Lending at a wealth creation company. He has also run his own mortgage broking business and worked for three of the big four banks in various leadership roles, including credit teams, sales, and debt collection, all within the consumer space.

Outside of work, Shannon enjoys living in Bayside, near golf courses and the beach. He has a busy family life with four children ranging in age from 14 to 2 years old, which keeps weekends filled with birthday parties and sports. Shannon is an avid basketball fan (Melbourne United) and a devoted supporter of AFL (North Melbourne). He also enjoys dining out, particularly savoring Mexican and American cuisine, with tacos and quesadillas being his favorites
