Sage is a Financial Planner at Empower Wealth with over 7 years’ experience in the wealth management and financial planning industry. Sage holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Finance/Financial Planning), Diploma of Commerce (Management) and a SMSF Accreditation Certificate with aspirations to attain further post graduate qualification as CFP.

Having worked with several boutique and large financial planning practices, Sage has gained valuable exposure to a range of clients from traditional accumulators, SMEs and higher net worth individuals.

Sage first started in the financial services industry as a Client Services Manager whilst completing his bachelor’s degree in Commerce. Upon graduation he was able to attain his Authorized Representative status as a Review Advisor and since then he has been in further roles as an Assistant Manager and a Senior Financial Planner.

He is a personal advocate of the impact the right guidance and education can have on an individual’s journey and endeavors. Coming from an amateur and elite sports background, Sage has been involved in numerous coaching and consulting programs to empower young athletes to be the best versions of themselves on and off the field.

Through a Financial Planning lens, Sage tailors his advice around creating rewarding client experiences through actively communicating and delivering a sound strategic plan, ranging from defense and protection against unforeseen events to portfolio construction for long term wealth creation goals.
