Merry Christmas From All Of Us!

2017 on the whole has been a positive year for building wealth for our clients.  Property prices have risen, share markets are up and no great change to interest rates.  Also via increased demand for our services Empower Wealth has also grown with another 17 new staff joining the ranks this year.

Brrr. So cold.

G’day everyone.

You know, last year I did my Christmas message from the North Pole, but I think today I want to change it up a little.

Let’s do a summer Christmas!!

(Clicks fingers.)

Summer in Australia, were the weather’s warm and were heading to the beach or the bush to spend time with friends and family. And that’s exactly what we’re going to do. We’re going to get nice and relaxed as we talk about the year that was in 2017.

A part of that year has been a big year for us. We’ve been able to look after customers in all areas of our business. And we’ve been able to enjoy some of the awards that we’ve been able to achieve. So customer Service awards, the Better Business Awards and also the Australian Financial Review Fast 100, which means that our company is growing very, very quickly, and we’re in the fastest 100 growing companies of Australia. Now, that’s good for us because we want to help more and more Australians, people just like you, to get into the market and build up a wealth basis and live off the passive income that comes from property investment.

So thanks for those.

Now, let’s share a few of the numbers of the past calendar year of what we’ve done.

So, in our Property Wealth Planning business, we’ve helped over 325 New Clients on building them a plan on the types of investment journey that they want to go on. So as part of that, we’ve recommended 570 new purchases to the value of $285 million.

There’s a lot of work that needs to be done in implementing those plans in 2018.

In terms of our Mortgage Broking business, we’ve had a big year in our mortgage broking area, submitting over 600 loan applications to the value of are $295, almost 300, million new submissions to help our clients build wealth.

In our Buyers Agency area, we’ve bought, currently, around 245 properties for the year, with a value of $167 million.

And, finally, in our Financial Planning area, we’ve been helping 175 people, in terms of Income Protection, Life and Trauma Policy to put some defence around them. In addition to that, we now manage over $76 million of our client’s superannuation money and their investments outside of property.

So, it’s been a massive year for us.

And we wanted to thank you very, very much for entrusting us with looking after your financials and taking you on a journey.

So my Christmas message this year is:

It is getting quicker and quicker as the years go by, so take a moment over the Christmas and New Year period to take stock. To reflect on the journey you’ve gone on. To be appreciative of all the things that you currently have, while also being excited about what they future has in store for you. This is a time to take a break and recharge the batteries to make sure when can get on with moving forward in 2018.

And it’s going to be an exciting 2018!
There’s going to be changes, there’s going to be challenges; but one thing’s for sure, it is up to us to make it another great year for all of us.

Have a happy Christmas, a fantastic festive season, to you and all your loved ones, friends and family. Get out there and enjoy yourself and take a moment to reflect on all the great things that this wonderful world has offered you!
